As Construction Site Assistant, you will support the Site Supervisor overseeing the construction activities that take place on the worksite. You would be heavily involved in supporting the planning, controlling projects, and supervising the contractors and staff while maintaining a safe work environment.

The Construction Site Assistant helps to maintain policies and keep the site safe and maintain a set schedule.

Key Requirements:

A positive outlook and willingness to encourage co-workers.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Always demonstrate a high level of integrity.
Experience working on residential construction projects.
Minimum of 2-year experience in general construction.
Understanding of building codes and construction safety regulations in British Columbia.
Support schedules, priorities, and exercise flexibility where necessary.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
Understanding of proper safety procedures, recognizing hazards and taking corrective action.
Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with valued trade partners


Support management of all trades and employees working on Kimberley projects.
Monitoring the performance of sub-contractors and staff under the direction of the superintendent.
Aid in the coordination and direction of construction workers.
Aid workers on site when required.
Working alongside the Site Supervisor to resolve any construction issues that might arise.
Ensure we have a clean presentable construction site.
Assist in monitoring and overseeing quality control measures on worksites.
Allocating resources, materials, sub-contractors, and other staff.
Recommending changes to construction operations or procedures to increase efficiency.
Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy working environment by adhering to and enforcing site safety.
Any other duties as required under the direction the Site Supervisor.
